So I’ve finally started to look at Mona again. Then I decided to look at the hub assy:

See anything unusual?
Yea. That’s right. The knuckle is on back-to-front. That ain’t gonna bolt up to anything. Sigh…. Lesson here is to QC any work, even if you trust the shop doing it. I mean, they even dismantled the old one! No excuse as to why it’s backwards. Silly me for not seeing it earlier also.
So with the added rage of the above I went to town on the bolts to get the mount plate off. Got it off with the extra rage bonus to my attacks:

Ran the bits down to the mechanic. Hoping to have them back tomorrow arvo so I can finally start the rebuild!

Scored all the bits I need to fix up Mona’s rear end over the weekend. Started installing only to find the balljoint needs replacing also. So now just waiting on that. Also need to get the remaining piece of the knuckle off the balljoint. Should be an easy job right? Well the damn thing keeps moving around like it’s supposed to. Not enough knuckle to hold onto to keep it stationary either. Sigh…
