After fitting the $50 replacement engine and doing a quick run around the block i thought a photo was in order.
Its not perfect but its better than the old motor which consumed 4 litres of oil in a 45km trip on one occasion.

got a phone call about my original AE86
the new owner needed some quick advice, so we popped around to have a look
I owned this car for close to 3 years and it was my first 86, I spent many hours playing around with it fixing and changing many things. It was a little strange seeing the car again, But it will always have a special place in my life.
