Drift Practice at Mallala 16-06-2012

Josh and Alan decided to head out for the drift practice this weekend just passed so since my car is in the build still ( nearly finished 🙂 )
I thought id head out and take some photos and catch up with a few people.

Josh in his 4age ke70 was showing some great improvements

Alan was having a few mechanical issues but still put in a good showing

Luke Hand in his RB25 S13 was laying down the smoke

This Soarer was doing really well it sounded 1jz powered its good to see cars like this out that aren’t as

popular as the oh so common s-chassis.

Tom Powell in his rb20 powered 31 was looking really smooth im a big fan of this car

unfortunately it wasnt all good, there was a sever collision by two 180sx’s it seemed everyone was ok which is what counts

Sadly the lense on my camera isn’t that great so being winter i quickly ran out of light so better luck next time to those i missed although that said next time i will be on the other side of the lense 🙂

First of the year

Our newest member Tait was the only one of us financial enough to make the practice at Mallala earlier this month.
This gave the whole crew a good excuse to get out there and support him and check out peoples new 2012 track cars.

Tristian Smith was out in his immaculate S14 testing out his new Rb25 setup wich produces 300kw !

Fabio was doing really well in his newly painted R32

Tait Was having a great day working his 160kw rb20 to the max in order to spin his 10.5inch rears!

As per tradition you cant run Ghetto Garage “colours” till you do a track day with us.
Tait passed the test 🙂

Getting some good angle through the esses.
Its also worth noting that Tait has made the S14A conversion guards by himself all steel!

Cheers to Carlos Poprivet for the last two photos.
Sadly his day was cut short due to a split coolant hose.

There where a few casualties during the day including this R32 which had some terminal problems!
Apologies for the late update ive got loads of media to sort through!
